    25 mph on boom?

    • Lane Bowers January 31, 2017 at 10:49 pm - Reply

25mph will get most people barefooting on the boom and some on the short rope. Dave who was skiing here likes to go a lot faster and I am trying to get him to slow down. It’s possible to actually barefoot behind the boat at super slow speeds like 25mph.

Lane Bowers thanks. I need to slow down then! I am 37 on 5 ft rope at 195 lbs. Should I be able to one foot at say 30 on 5 foot rope?

        • Lane Bowers February 1, 2017 at 12:14 am - Reply

Eric not one foot at that speed but I got the worlds Strongest Man, Phil Pfister, who was 6’8″ and 385lbs to barefoot son the 7′ rope at 36mph!

          • Eric Peterson February 1, 2017 at 12:35 am

What a great tool for learning back deeps, boom high to help the skier, then lower after the skier gets up….!

    • Lane Bowers February 1, 2017 at 1:02 am - Reply

Also for helping people get into the swing and the raise it! Also, for less flexible skier learning front deep, start low and them move higher for 3 point and standing position!

That was the goal but not everyone listens. I sometimes have to give a little of what they want mixed with what they need. Most people want me to correct the basics. 🤗
