Water sports are activities that are enjoyed by many an ‘adrenaline junkie’. This is probably the case because the soft landing provided by the water allows for high speeds and a sense of exhilaration that comes with that. However this isn’t the only appeal of watersports such as barefoot waterskiing, and in fact they have many other additional merits.

For example, someone who enjoys waterskiing will find it does wonders for their health and this works in many ways. Not only will they need to hold themselves upright against the taut rope – thereby strengthening their muscles including their crucial core muscles – but they’ll also need to regularly swim to and from the boat which is well known to be one of the best resistance exercises. This will burn fat while building muscle, but they’ll also get additional benefits of being in the sun (which has countless positive effects) and of being outdoors and breathing fresh sea air.
